Help wanted please: 1-2 weeks accommodation Tauranga for 2 people

    Hi Everyone

Some of you may know that I've my best friend and his wife from Cape Town staying with me. Confirmation of work visa is expected Friday or Monday and he starts work Monday 21st based near Tauranga airport.

Trouble is that with him being in Auckland and without wheels as yet, he can't exactly go around viewing properties and with no history in NZ it might be difficult for him to find a place to stay. Has funds, just needs to find his feet in the area.

They're a friendly, easy going (non-smoking) couple of sound character and will voluntarily do dishes / help out for 1-2 weeks. If anyone near TGA, particularly near the airport could be of assistance we'd all greatly appreciate it.

Caveat: Nick's 2m and 125kg and has an appetite and drinking ability to match. Do not engage in drinking games unless you're of similar dimensions.

Several. Its one of those unisex names, like Chris, Shannon, Tracey etc. I met Valerie Adams once - pretty sure she's fit the dimensions you mentioned!

Never come across a female "Nick"... must be one of those names in the process of transitioning. Soon Heinrich will be a unisex name. As for Valerie, well if she's up for a drinking game and lives in Tauranga...

Nicola is often shortened to Nick.

There are only three types of people in this world. Those that can count, and those that can't!

In my experience it's been Nix but hey, I'm only trying to find them a place to stay.

Thanks Natatale - I think I'll be dropping them off and from then on, they're on their own. Is there public transport (e.g. bus) from Pyes Pa to TGA?

Just to clarify that that's an appetite for food, not alcohol lol.

Hmm Yeah but getting to Airport area from here may be a bit of a bitch without your own wheels. Pm me if you don't find anything closer getting close time.
