Neighbour was taking his microlight for a buzz, so I figured I'd better come along and make sure the other seat had somebody to hold it down.

Lucky bugger. Round hill doesn't look as steep from the air. Second photo Butler Saddle?

It has been calm all week with only a light dusting of snow on the range. No rain at all either. Overcast and cold today but still calm.

Yep still in action. There was a groomer coming down the slope as we flew past today, think they're planning to be up and running tomorrow.

Just got in after getting this guy off the hill. Big boy too, well over 100kgs.

506 metre shot with the 280. First shot slightly behind shoulder, he was dead on his feet.

Saw heaps of deer, nice calm fine evening after crap weather. Would have seen 15-18 deer, most of them stags.

Stuffed up a stalk on two 10/12 pointers, then sat back for a glass and this one popped out of the scrub with around 15 mins shooting light left.

    Cheers
    Josh
