Just watched a Qantas 747 come in reeeeal low over the farm, sounded really quiet too, wonder if it was having engine trouble? Jumped on flightradar and its QF28 from Santiago, Chile to Sydney, Australia, "Diverted to Christchurch" Be interesting to find out whats happened....

Just got back from doing a bit of an introduction to long range shooting for a new young member. The smile on his dial was priceless and why I get a buzz out of introducing young people to shooting sports.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Hardly any at all to kick off with but it got a bit fickle from around eleven. It wasnt strong but was at every point of the compass at one stage. I have left the steel up as you will see. Still got a couple to do but there would be enough tethered now for your course guy to play with.

It's good it held out that long.
Might test some of the close gongs myself. It occurred to me I haven't fired a rifle since the week before xmas, spent too much time with the bow.
Need to get my eye back in.
