Just saw a vid clip of the "Boat Shed" restaurant in Rocks Road _ Nelson - I don't think they be opening again very soon :-)
Waves/storm surge blown the doors out

What mm of rain you had down Hoki @R93

We had 100mm thus far and still persisting down - but wind abated TFFT

Getting off very lightly here. A little bit of rain this morning, 30 degrees now, windy but not too bad.

Its been a tad windy here. My vegetable garden is stripped. Raining now and the wind has dropped to just a gale.

Not sure. Hasnt seemed like much rain. Power just come back on now. Signal on my phone has just started drifting in and out.

Shame about the boatshed. I always grab a feed there when in Nelson

Been a little breezy here. Negative rainfall with the temp hitting 34 at one point.

Other than that I'm all ready to dribble out the side of my mouth after getting a tooth removed. Bill was quite reasonable too.

In Nelson they hire them out at a beach that has no surf at all and generally see them all out when it is waterskiing weather ie flat calm.

Spent most of today cleaning up after the big wind yesterday. About a dozen trees across fences over the farm.

I had the same relief milker yesterday. Was interesting trying to walk a sore cow out of a 60 bale rotary, on my own with one door halfway along a wall.... backwards and forwards. Backwards and forwards....

The old man wanted to go to my secret snapper(shark) spot in the morning....dunno if we will get that far from Nelson with the forecasts and we wont be going anywhere before light with all the crap in the bay (literally crap from sewerage ponds but more of a concern all the logs and branches)
I think he is bringing his neighbours kids which is nice.
I am rerigging worn gear....50p florocarbon strayline rig.
