    Yeah, I can remember those times. Wouldn't trade those memories for all the gold in the world.

    Still laugh at the Mrs wanting to go to the hospital with the most gear and people. Then when the time came it was too late to take her anywhere so born at home.

    Best way to be, we are 6mths in and my theory is "if you cant laugh your fkd". You sound level and laid back - run with it and enjoy (eventually)

    Yep I was relaxed, delivered my wife to the hospital and played golf that day, thems was the days, hand mum over to the Matron and then told to piss off your not needed, mind you mum was 5 days in hospital, as that was the norm back then. Dads got a rest, well playing pool and drinking piss to wet the baby's head with your mates for four nights was just a little stressful! Can't understand the stress today, of course everybody reinvents the wheel, just remember where you came from when looking for advice, old mums are a fountain of good old fashion knowledge

    Crashed parked the corolla wagon bout 3m from the doors, well up on the foot path so no-one could say we were holding up traffic. Put a note on the dash.... "My name is James 021.... my wife is having a baby - I hope to be able to move my car soon" A few hours later collect car where last parked
