    RO8 - HMS Queen Elizabeth

The first new Royal Navy aircraft carrier in thirty years is nearing sea trials. After a brief absence from the world of fixed-wing naval aviation the Royal Navy’s brand new flattop HMS Queen Elizabeth and its sister ship, Prince of Wales, will soon sail the seas for service sea trials, their decks full of new F-35B Joint Strike Fighters. The result will be the most powerful “Senior Service” in generations. The Royal Navy has a new flagship and with a powerful name comes with it.

Lets take a closer look at HMS Queen Elizabeth. Britain's first aircraft super-carrier.

Only a minor issue but if the HMS Queen Elizabeth is the sister to the HMS Prince of Wales.....Well does anyone else see an issue here....???? Perhaps it would have been better to call the Sister ship the HMS Princess Ann or Margaret.

Can't imagine it straying to far from the UK as it's fuel bill would be bloody huge plus all the accompanying support craft and subs.
