    Hong Kong

Looks like the shit is about to hit the fan in Hong Kong with the chows sending a bunch of military vehicles towards the border. Could imagine if they crack down on the demonstrators and they throw back a few well placed Molotov cocktails she be all on, Chinese New Year will come early.

The shit stirring is reaching its head would be more appropriate - China were too slow and accommodating here.
Are you aware of its history and agreements ?????

I’m well aware of how the treat people, seen it first hand. They don’t muck around.

Really sad to see. It’s one of our favourite places to visit and know some great folks there. Have great memories of the approach into
    Kai Tak.
Will be in touch with our friends to see how they are.

My daughter in-law is Chinese - so we have something in common
They don't muck around - true - in this case they have mucked around and its now going to take some extreme force to get it under control
The organizers and perpetrators of these riots are the corrupt officials that have been left to their own devices for way too long and will face corruption charges on mainland China - their dream is over so to speak
There is external proxy supporters to the "rent a crowd" protesters too - wont give names will leave that to your imagination

Flying into Kai Tak was a great experience indeed, loved looking at all the Chinese laundry, not sure how you could sleep if you worked shift work with all the engine noise.

Is anyone actually surprised about what is going on in HK? It was just a matter of time.

I'm not aware of the details outlining what control/autonomy was agreed to when annexing with China.
Certainly enough people seem upset and view the current state as a violation.
I'm not in favour of colonialism and corruption though would probably prefer it to the outright autocracy practiced by the China regime

The MSM is calling the protesters "terrorists" "gangsters" & "thugs" somehow I think, they're none of those things.
