    How Dumb is

    Dumb

You may look at this photo and say what is dumb about that, well . . . .

This was being used on a real estate sale listing for a bush block that boundaries onto my work (its not on there any more)
Unfortunately that picture is of them poaching our block
The police are going to give him a visit this week

Funny thing is if he had asked I would have said they could come in, never mind.
I have the tendency to wear my mind on my sleeve

Ha, saw that listing but didn't notice the dodgy photo.

They even had a bloody vehicle in there Barefoot. Fumb Ducks.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

A lot of people that do this, just don't care if they are on legal ground or not. And they appear to get away with it, which provokes them to get cheekier with their behavior. Then IF they do get caught out, they plead ignorant about rules etc, take the pip, then nek minit your stock is getting shot, pet cat strung up by the neck etc. These cnuts are not classed as FERAL without good reason, and should be treated as such as they will never change.
Why do people that can't take advice, insist on giving it?

The vehicle occupants were allowed in there and reported running into them to me at the time, but it became a "he said she said" type situation, and had been hoping for some real proof.

This sort of thing really pisses me off. When an honest character can't get on to a farm to shoot because pricks like these piss land owners off. Now if I walked onto my neighbors property with a gun I would end up in the slammer pretty darn quick. Why do these A-Holes seem to get away with it??? I just don't get it.

Simple. A-Holes are difficult to deal with because they are A-Holes. It is much easier to deal with someone who is more compliant. Ring any bells? Cough, 'new arms regulations', cough.

Yesterday I found two fresh gut bags on the side of a track, several hundred metres apart in a private block. And then in another block I caught a guys red handed taking his rifle for a walk. Some people don't give a rats arse, even when all they need to do is call me and ask.
I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.

I rang a farmer who I would consider a mate a couple weeks ago. He is not a hunter at all.
A mate and I used to take a fair few animals off his place when we could sell them. I haven't been back hunting there since we stopped selling them.

Said I seen a few deer mooching around his place recently.
Got my first ever No! And thanks for not just going out and shooting one anyway.

Said I wouldn't do that after so long without asking.

I was all good with that. It's his place.

I don't normally go out and shoot paddock deer for the freezer but was hoping to get my daughter a shot.

Has a couple other dudes that go out but they never get anything apparently.

I said to give me a ring when he gets sick of his cows going hungry.

We had a similar one that did not involve hunting. Dad was looking through the "for sale" real estate pages and saw a colour photo of his pride and joy (batch) is the pages. When he delved into who was selling our huse when it was not for sale, it turned out that the batch in question was a fairly basic shed with bunks in it with a nice view from the front. Our house was in the middle of the view and it was the view that was their picture.....So what they were selling, if you bought it, you would get to stand on your new door step and look at the picture that was in the paper.....

Ah the morality of estate agents, we looked at a place on the firth of Thames several years ago, was advertsed as having sea views. Get there for a look ask where the view is, answer behind those trees when the leaves fall off you can see it in winter.
