    How is everyone enjoying winter?

Been in the South Island for a few weeks now and enjoying the climate.
The mean average temperature in St Arnaud for the last week has been 2.6 degrees with a minimum of -4.1 degrees.
Here are a few photos from today.

The above photos are frost at 4pm - not snow.

Had a quick spin around the local ice skating pond on the fat bike.

Slowly getting used to it. -4 last night. At least we've had some pearler days this last week, even if the temperature hasn't been climbing much above 10.

Took this just after 12 today.. nice wee frost.

    Starting to struggle with it.
Yesterday finishing off a fence had to wear a Swazi sweatshirt with my shorts and jandles till it warmed up a bit.
Currently in shorts and tee shirt while the mrs had the heat pump on she says it to keep daughter warm. Will put on socks when they both go to bed

Riding the shop 50cc scooter to and from work at the moment for a laugh (bus lanes are mean when you can use them yourself) in shorts and a t-shirt. Some days the temps have dipped into single digits! The horror!
