Husbands support group ( please )

I think we need a "Husbands Support Group" sticky !!!
I get sooooo much shit about all the "sporting goods" that I have and buy ( and do actually use a lot ) !!!

But my wife has just arrived home from " the big smoke" - CHCH or "The Car infested Swamp" as we call it here on Banks Peninsula !
I have just helped unload the car ( as you do ( don't you ? )) and brought in kitchenware, plastic storage containers, shoes and fabric !!!
Its the same every time she goes to town and we have the most pimped out kitchen imaginable.

Thank goodness both my daughters have left home and we now have all of a huge 5 bedroom house to fill with the above items !

Please note I have been drinking ..... and she has brought home pork spare ribs to cook for my tea ( makes a change from venison ) and did arrive home in time to cook it for me.

I never have an issue, actually I do, sometimes need to convince myself i reallly need that...........................I'm sure I do maybe, possibly.......
My long suffering wife uses says "up to you, if you want it buy it" which I am sure is reverse psychology

You don't need support. You are fine. You are not even pissed as you were able to type the post. You will survive. Keep buying the stuff you want.

I just keep the tank fill to keep up with the leakage, simple really. Having a business that owns a lot of good shit that never gets on the asset register Yes! I've just been told I'm slacking in the 'keeping thing nice' category and need to pull my socks up! I'm off out the garage now to pull a bit more off the AH, I feel sorry for her, she has taken her painful shingles to bed! Time to relax. She's lucky I love her!!!

I get in trouble for spending money (on legitimate, useable things) and then I point out that she has spent the exact same amount this month, to which she replys "yes, but I bought things for the house, that's for both of us..." errrrrm, yea, ok, another table, or a $50 candle that im not allowed to light, just what I always wanted.....

I can't figure how they know when you drop some serious coin on a shiny new toy but mine normally starts saying "we" need this, that and every other fuckin thing under the sun. I'm trying to build enough wife tax credit for a long range set up but pretty sure after "we" get it there'll be more household shit needed or some emergency requiring a trip down to the inlaws.

Shampoo is the worst one, sometimes I have to ask "did you really spend $100+ on a bottle of f**king shampoo???!" And the answer is "yes I need it because my hair is really bad" errrrm, ok, so the other $100 bottles of shampoo you have been using for the last god knows how long, have done sweet f**k all other than lead you to have "bad hair", so you need to spend $100 on another bottle of shampoo to fix it???

Ahh yes..... my personal favourite was the display 'tea towels' that although they are placed in the perfect place for easy use, are in fact, due to their colour co-ordination with the rest of the kitchen, not for use . What the hell!
If my work annoys me, I cull them
