    and , i survived surgery ......

so , here I am a few hours since I got my second part of my implant into my leg , at burwood hospital today , ... I chose to have a spinal block so as to be awake and hear all around me whilst surgery was goin on , here area couple of pics ...so the bit sticking out stays sticking out forever , I will be able to attach my prosthetic knee direct to it ....

Thank fuck we live in the 21st century and not the 18th. Modern medical technology never ceases to amaze me. What is the country of manufacture for the implant?

    Heal well and fast.

There will be no stopping you now Stumpy. Heal quick mate.

That looks nifty. How long you in for? Have a mate that is looking to get transferred there shortly by the sounds of things.

Brilliant, hope this new surgery works out well for you. One of the lads at the Te Kuiti shoot was thus endowed and he certainly scooted around on the rough ground bloody well, wouldn't of known until he mentioned it. Maybe he might come on this post and talk about it, pretty impressive performance on the waewae and the gun as well.

Just had another look and got thinking. Good to see the black arrow so they didn't put it on your good leg but did the orientate it or is it out by 180deg?

Hey stumpy all the best. I have got nice bits of steel in my leg too. Just a thought if you find the steel bits a bit heavy shoot around to gun works they may be able to flute them for you
