    Yep, most people have never heard of it but it's seriously impressive. The volume of water going over them is mindblowing

    nah mate - the normal flow rate here is 1756 cubic meters of water a second. You can do the sums yourself.......

    If you do you need to visit both side of the river - Brazil and Argentina . Well appointed on both sides with very good walkways and viewing points. You can do organised tour groups - we just winged it and did our own thing . Speaking basic spanish would help but beyond hola and chiao we managed just fine .
