    Just had a wicked thunderstorm this arvo.

    And this is the result.Was rather surprised. The wireless modem blew up behind the tv aswell.

    Im guessing it hit them, and they were close enough together to be both hit. It was still thunder and lightning when i took the photo, shitting my pants.Will have a closer look tomorrow.

    I would say they would have been a victim of step voltages from a strike near by, if they were both orientated north - south to a strike the step voltage between hind quarters and forequarters could have got them. Just for examples sake 1000 volts hits the ground, theyre 10m away with their arses to the strike the ground on their hindquarters might have a potential of 800v and it might be 300v at their forequarters meaning they were completing a circuit of 500v. A cow standing with its side to the strike may well have survived.
