    Kaweka chill

The weather looked great from home, so I went to see what was out in the sun.

    I never found any sun

I did catch up with an old friend "Wilson"

You only see him when its real cold

    Loaned him my hat

No sika shot today, the only areas i found hinds/yearlings were established beech forest where snow couldnt hit the ground

Anyone else out in the cold today ?

Yes 4 hours walking in the river before you get to your spot. Feet frozen.

I used to live on the Hauraki Plains and have seen snow way north of Thames. That lot was around 1959/60
