    Kill em All!! - Roundup

How long after rain or a heavy dew before Roundup can be used?

Once the plant is dry is best, as long as the spray you apply doesn't get further rain and run off the plant it will be fine.
The active ingredient needs time to 'dry' on the pant in order to have time to translocate into the plant.
Precipitation following application is more of a concern and can be bought forward buy using a surfactant.

    Cheers.
That's basically what I thought but wasn't sure if there had to be a time between rain etc and spray as to the leaves absorbing/processing water 1st before the spray would be effective.
I've got a job to do this arvo then

Great. Your approach to gardening Spanners is consistent with your general approach to life. It has a lot to recommend itself by.

There are no such things as weeds Spanners, just unwanted plants. Kill em all I say.

After some earthworks, we seem to have every different type of weed growing in the soil. Where the hell they come from I don't know as most of the variety a arnt visibly on our property or neighbors.

Some seeds may have been dormant in the soil and the earthworks brought them to the surface. Gorse is a splendid example of this as it can lie dormant for 50 / 60 years.
Probably however. the majority came in on your contractor's plant and equipment.............or fill if you brought any in.

Digger was spotless and it's just been moved - no fill.
I've given it a hammering so time to wait for the process to complete .. Muhahhaa

On a nice note, a white rose appeared out if nowhere. I left him

Roundup doesn't kill everything, you can always add something like "Buster" to get that bleached earth appearance. Always use a penetrant such as pulse for harder to kill weeds like some grasses, gorse, broom etc.

like others have said you are better off going to a agri chemical place and getting the correct spray for the weeds you want to kill. Most weeds will simply laugh at your feeble attempt at round up.

I always add a bit of "Conquest" with roundup mix then weeds are stuffed on day two not day 10.
