    Lions tour is...

It going to be successful, for them, or us?
Who are they going to beat ,who aren't they?
Is the first invitation team game set up for them to fail and the lions to look good at the start?

I reckon the Eketahuna high school second fifteen will worry them in the first half.

    Lets hope they do Rushy
It would be a cracker if they lost there first game on tour

Though I'd feel a bit sorry for Warren Gatland.
He has a son playing in the opener, for us of course.

If they win 1 test, and 2-3 of the other games, they'll call it a successful tour
    Don't think they'll win a test though.

You depart with mighty boasts, but you come back having done little.
Sounds like a typical hunting trip !

hitting all those super18 teams in succession willsoften em lions up ,then to face the same hardasses banded together under an allblack jersey intent on 80mins of mayhem-youd have to say thats a pretty bloody intimidating head game for starters ,enhanced also by the fact youre so far away from good old blighty.
as for mr gatland -well if the babaas do the job will son gatland rub dear old dads nose in it.???
best of luck lions but its a bloody big longshot me thinks.
go you mighty crusaders and down those bloody haggis munchers tommorrow!!!to the lions -lookupon this spectacle and weep -they re all comin at you very soon

I wonder if my twin will feel like a truckie taking a load of lambs to the works?

He's is on the South Island leg. Not surprised really, he just knows so many people. He's probably met most of you he's that bad. Only got his class 2 about 18 months ago.

It's. A tuff tour all right you never know all these tough games before the test mite be just what they need to to gell and come to grips with the NZ style of rugby they should be pushed all the way not sure about 1st game. I hope the franchises put out strongest team s possible as players you always want to play the best opposition and give it your best if you don't play against the best you don't really know how good you are or aren't should be a great tour I'm lookin forward to the NZ maori game
