    A matter of principal

So, being the nice bloke that I am ( IMHO), I offered a newby member who was trying to get some gear together in a hurry a bumbag. I even gave him an option on colours Blaze/camo. He chose Blaze, so after informing him that he could have it for the princely sum of $15 plus postage, and him agreeing, I send off the bumbag. Now for the record, the bumbag is a Ridgeline Rata 5 pocket brand new, never used. A bloody bargain I think you will agree.
This was back in November 2013, and he wanted it for an up coming forum hunt.
Now, despite me sending PM`s and posting on open forum to give him a nudge, I have heard diddly squat in return. He has sent me a pm about another issue in the mean time mind you.
Now obviously, it is not about the money, as I can live without $20 for the time being.
BUT..will I be in a hurry to help out the next guy who comes along trying to get a bit of gear together?? I think not probably.I am sure a few of you have already guessed the name of the member in question, and I wont go as far as to name him just yet as despite everything, I am still willing to cut some slack.
If you happen to know the guy I am talking about, please tell him from me that I am a little less than impressed and he has changed my attitude to human nature somewhat.

You win some and lose some. The pleasure you will receive from those that appreciate you for being a decent and generous person, will far out weigh the odd little hic up. Don’t let it put you off.

You might still get your money, what will be will be.

You are a giver, not a taker and will always help people which is why you are a SAR volley. As you said money is not the issue. Keep on giving and sharing. The world is a better place for it

Pengy that is deeply disturbing. I thought him a decent bloke and gifted him a good pair of Huntech Gaiters on the trip you mention and leant him a rifle to use. I am disappointed that he has not held up his end.

I am a bit surprised myself Rushy, Seems like a decent enough guy.
I have noticed that he has been logging on and off here quite frequently today, so I reckon he must have read either this thread or the one that has his name as the title.
See how I cleaverly skirted around actually naming him

I don't know who it is, but if I did I wouldn't deal with them now, his or hers word is worth nothing.
    it comes down to morals.
you don't buy stuff with no money,
if you make the deal, keep your word, make your word or hand shake worth something.
if you do buy it, send the money off straight away, in this case the seller sent the item straight away, fairs fair.

but this is common sense it shouldn't need to be spelled out, shame on you, theres no excuse for that time frame.

its just shows the kind of person you are. if I knew who he was I would never deal with him/her.

There is no way he doesn't know. Saw him on just after my post and on again now.

Out of curiosity, do any of the guys that went to Rushy`s roost recall the member in question using a blaze bumbag?

Also, admin. What are the rules on naming and shaming on open forum ?
