More bungling from the Police with personal data

So, in a nut shell, some fruit cake woman goes on a crime spree with a taser and gun between Timaru and Christchurch over a period of 8 months.

She went to court and pleaded guilty to unlawfully carrying both a firearm and imitation firearm, willful damage, two counts of theft, possessing cannabis plant, speaking threateningly, and threatening to kill or do grievous bodily harm in a series of offences committed in Timaru and Christchurch between August 14, 2018, and April 7, 2019.

During her time in Timaru Police station she stole 10 police notebooks - containing personal information including phone numbers and addresses of people who had been interviewed by police by concealing them in her underwear.

Two had been recovered but eight were outstanding, the judge said. "You said you read through them and thought it was a good laugh."

So the Police cant even keep a notebook safe it seems. Incredible.

For those who want to read the full story and see the feeble "punishment" handed down by the judge can follow this link.

I note that at least some of the offending occurred after 15 March. How is it possible that such a low sentence and handed down, with all those agravating factors? Unbelievable.

I dont want the "pleasure" of ever meeting this woman, brings a new dimension to "concealed carry". 10 notes books in her knickers .... only recovered 2 ???

I was looking for a photo of her, but I guess she was really, really fat to be able to hide those notebooks in her underwear,

Anyway, she has previous form for violence, and Judge Joanna Maze in 2014 dismissed accusations of Keen presenting a firearm, because, the witness was her ex lover. In retrospect, one wonders if she (the lover) was telling the truth after all.

Well you certainly dont want to touch one of the notebooks if its been down there or up there.

Why were they left in a place where they could be pinched?

And where are they now, in the hands of gang members or some other meth head nutter somewhere who could now be watching your house?

Im sitting here reading this thread ,having a quiet ale,and a vision keeps reoccuring .somewhere in the upper echelons of NZ police sits a person shinyarsed ,budgie shit galore on shoulders but surrounded by clumps of hair ,as hes tear ing his out as even more incidents cross his desk of police incompetence and insecurity.
I also hear a strangled scream -if only we hadnt been so ..f...........g eager to roll up to the house and get new firearms laws cause we cant sort the existing ones a lot of own own grandaddy fuckups would have stayed in our house .not in the ones of those mongrel legal firearms owners alerted by our onetime pets the mainstream media."
sorry saaaaar theres no known cure for having to eat humble pie!!!

my my theres some plods out there that must have just joined for the unifrom bright shiny shoes and now a big evil gun (cause aunty cindy says so.)

somewhere in all this shit is a rich vein of idiocy which some evewn half decent comedian could mine and use to topline.

    a wee yarn

little fella runnin down the street tears streaming out his eyes ,wailing his head off

a spotty faced shinyarsed new copper spots him and walks over

now now my friend what is the problem ,are you feeling discriminated against .....

"piss off noddy says the kid ,me old mans in a fuckin great punchup down at the pub

young cop gets on radio ..30 man backup team ,guns tazers etcetc and surround the pub

its all on windows breaking ,jugs flying a proper old school scrap.
just as they enter ,mr plod says

    which is ya Dad son

It was in a Police station, she could have put them on a trolley and walked them out the door to the car...Those places are so safe they dont even lock the doors. Its been done before with items harder to conceal than notebooks.....
