I'd just keep moving on through @gimp

No deer here anyway, although you might find a few bush pigs at Bar 101 or the Thirsty Whale

On a serious note, what would interest you?

    Cheers

Take a drive up to the top of Te Mata Peak at dawn.

Look to the west at sunrise and eat yer heart out.

The Universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead. -Mr Peanutbutter

If you only have the half day you could hire a bike and ride the cycle way?

And if you really want to impress your mother in law you could give her a double on your handle bars.

Although it's Probally best to do this before you visit @kiwijames brew house.
