Navman Fault - is there anyone who can service

I was warned not to sell my Lowrance and now look

My Navman Track-Fish 6507 is working but I can't see the Bloody thing
Have the "Backlight" up as far as it will go - but unless I drape a towel/jacket over my head and the unit - I can't see anything

Does anyone know of someone who might be able to fix it (or try to fix it)
I know they are obsolete and no parts are available anymore - but maybe this is just a tweak or tinker job

I rang a crowd in AKL and he laterally said chuck it in the bin :-(((
But maybe there is a MacGyver amongst us who is prepared to have a look - if its stuffed - have nothing to loose apart from some postage.

Main use is for Fog - as we live in boat access only and it can be quite embarrassing sitting high and dry on a sandbank on approach to Havelock.

@mikee might be a good start for a fix. You might need to get your missus to make him some flash bread or a pizza tho.
I should get some commission for thinking of it as well

He was one step ahead of ya !!

Yes - he has not made any promise of a fix - but very grateful for a chance that it might get sorted.
Your "commission " will keep for when you up later in summer.
