Need to get rifle to north island

I need to get a rifle up to the north island, I suppose it doesnt really matter where it ends up to begin with but it will be going to the hawkes bay. Maybe some guys travelling for tahr blocks etc may be able to grab it? I'm up and down the south island over the next week or two so can get it to someone heading that way. Any help appreciated. Cheers

I have successfully used couriers (fastways) to send a rifle south and have one sent north. They will transport from one dealer to another, so long as both dealers belong to Firearms Dealers Network. My cost to send South was $25 and rifle coming north was $47. I understand different dealers or perhaps courier franchisees set their own prices.

He will weave a story out of the experience Gibo. He will use words like butt, chamber, bedding magazine, bolt, sight, shot and suppressor.. Hell I’ll give it a go before he gets into it.

He shot his bolt in the butt while reading a magazine. It was a hell of a sight as he tried to suppress her in the bedding chamber. Nah that’s no good, I think I will leave it to Phil.

Sorry Ryan. What can I say? I hope you get your gun up north.

Check out the firearm network. Gimp made a post. With a mail order form you can send through the dealers for a fee.

Just had a rifle sent from Christchurch, the dealer just charged the courier fee, so you guys down there support him.

Further to my earlier post...visited Fastways depot to see where my parcel was. (With courier as addressed to dealer network member) shot round there to be told the only staff member who holds a f/a licence is on holiday and as no other staff could receive the gods, the courier was sent packing with my parcel. Will uplift from courier tomorrow morning, but seems a tad odd the business had only one Licencee. Won’t bother going there again.
