    Nelson Teen Dies

Nelson teen dies after cathedral roof plunge | Stuff.co.nz

I just wanted to pay tribute on here, although he wasn't a hunter, he was a friend of mine and I wanted to share some respects.
Finn was one of those kids that makes their death at such a young age such a tragedy, because he was one of the kindest, fun-loving, adventurous guy that I can't think of anyone having an unkind word to say that was true.
He played lots of sports and was always volunteering one way or another - he played in my soccer team for two years last year, I went to many parties with him and hang outs and he was always a funny guy to have a nice chat with, always up for summer fun, but you probably wouldn't have met a more decent kid (and I do not say that for any sake).

I feel really bad his death is being very hyped up and spread all over the news right now, he has so very many friends and family in mourning right now.

I wish there were more guys out there like him, which is another reason to be saddened by his death. The good ones seem to die too young

R.I.P Finn buddy, hope there's lots of snow and playing fields where you're off to now x

We all learn lessons in life, sometimes from our own mistakes and sometimes from others. It is always sad to see a life cut short.
Which is worse, ignorance or apathy...I don't know and don't care.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss and feel for you Aly.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

As others have said keep an eye on the friends, and especially those who won't or cant talk about it.. @Aly
Really pleased you felt confident enough to post here. But as I've said keep talking about it, and find others to talk to about it. It takes time, but its sometimes the only way through - especially if you are young and can no longer see the woods for the trees...

    All the best. P.

Tough times for all concerned Aly. Losing a friend is always hard to take when you are young. He sounded like a bright young man that we would all have liked to have known.
