NEW YEAR, NEW HOMETOWN NEED NEW JOB

    Hello thee!
So, my lady got a job in Blenheim and after so many years doing my "especial" kind work i need to move on and find another kind work to do. I am an old bugger(46) and i have only skydive in NZ for the last 12 years, i have experience with logistic, warehouse and sales but this last i am not so good as i call myself too honest.
I will need a place to live in Blenheim, family is 4 adults(me, my partner and the in laws) and three kids with a dog. We are non smokers or drinkers and christians, losing for a 4 or 5 bedroom house in town or nearby.

Myself, originally from Brazil but NZ citizen now, 2 kids, a girl(10) and a boy(7), my partner is a school teacher originally from SA, she also has a daughter(10) and the in laws, a retired school teacher couple absolute amazing, we have a dog, it is a spaniel X Lab X collie with absolute amazing behaviour who hang out inside and outside of the house.

I am a keen hunter(everything except pigs) and love my rifles and long range target shooting, wouldn't mind work for your local hunting and fishing shop whatever the size is, i am a reloader and i can do heaps of small services in rifles and always keen to learn more.

Please, if you know something that can help us drop me a PM so i can contact you, we planing to move on the beginning of new year, first half of january.

Thank you very much for take the time to read and "reply"!

    Cheers.

    Mac

Blenheim is a great place to live and raise kids. I should know I grew up there. Not sure how you will go with work as it has been a long time since I went south for better $$$. But dont let that put you off, I'm sure you will love it..

Thank you guys for the well wishes!
@scotty, nice to know they have Chamoix around, that is new for me, saying that, no the move is not because them.
@Pengy, sad to say it but I actually don't like the Brazilian weather pattern, too hot for me, here down south is where I feel more comfortable.

    Cheers guys!

There is a skydive place up there, if you haven't already give them a call. You might be able to do part time at least which will help until you find a full time gig.

    @PERRISCICABA
Try Omaka aerodrome - there's quite a few aviation activities there, as suggested by WhistlingWings.
If you don't mind travelling, Nelson/Motueka isn't too far away either.
My story - went to West Australia 30 odd years ago, didn't know a soul, made friends (mostly Pom expats), got work straight away.
Came home as a retired bloke, GFC ruined our plans, but we've bounced back and are very happy with our lives now.
Wherever you go buddy, there's always opportunities - just take what you can find and go from there.
Good luck - I'm sure you'll settle in nicely.
