    News Websites

I'm on the hunt for a replacement News website.

Currently I have Newshub and NZ Herald bookmarked, but Newshub has been annoying me for a while.

It's not uncommon to have the same stories 3x on the same page,(why??) and the content has gone down the gurgler as far as I can see.

So I'm looking for something in the middle of the political spectrum, neither left or right biased, with sane, bullshit free reporting.

I suspect this might be asking too much, but however, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

    Anybody got a good tip?

It may not be your cup of tea, but I listen to radio NZ national. They have video on the web but I don’t bother with it. Good luck finding something without bias.

    Re International News
I very rarely read past the Heading on any Media source that has Co-operate or Government affiliation.
There are many good "balanced" independent crowd funded feeds online now

Like - how many Main Stream Media now allow or encourage Comments or feedback ??
That to me says they are solely there to tell you only what "they" want you to know and not what you deserve/should know

Do not need luck to find without Bias - just need to take time to search "with open eyes/mind"

NZ News. i have truckloads of international news sites to choose from.

Back in 2004, I picked up a Chilean Hitchhiker in Southland. We had an interesting discussion. I remember 2 of his points of view:

    "NZ News is crap"

    "Helen Clark seems.....Hormonal."

NZ Herald and Stuff are both attention-whoring clickbait tabloid trash. RNZ is still fairly left-leaning at times but at least a higher standard of reporting and less annoying. ODT is probably the best for local, think its the only independent newspaper left in the country now?
