Tommy Lee Jones is a damn good actor. He went a bit off the mark in MiB but I really like his stuff.

I should also add . . . . Real life is often stranger than Fiction !

    QUOTE . . . . The neighbors were alerted when a man ran from the premises wearing nothing but a dog collar . . . . !
In a civilized and cultivated country, wild animals only continue to exist at all when conserved by the sportsman. The excellent people who protest against all hunting, and consider sportsmen as enemies of wildlife are wholly ignorant of the fact that in reality the genuine sportsman is by all odds the most important factor in keeping wild creatures from total extinction.

Yep that is a good movie. The book that it is based on is written by a guy called Cormac McCarthy. His other book, Blood Meridian, is one of my favourites. Very violent, makes your stomach churn sometimes, but a really good book nonetheless.

Couldn't find another movie thread but I watched "Dallas Buyers Club" last night. Good flick especially for a couple of lollypop actors like Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Ganrner

NCFOM is a great movie and the raw action is Similar to " things to do in Denver when you're dead"

Just movies but really worth watching

For some reason I am a little uncomfortable discussing a movie with murderous scenes on a hunting forum

I understand your discomfort however action movies generally contain a lot of gratuitous violence yet still appeal to a wide audience 7mmsaum and that audience includes hunters. Besides, even Walt Disney's "Bambi" could be considered to have a murderous scene by some.

One of the best and one of the worst.
You can claim to be cultured for sure.
Sniper sucked balls in so many ways.
Berringer nacre made a good movie after Platoon.

It's a better film than you'd think would come out of the Hollywood sausage machine..
