odd compusion .....cant stop it ......

So , I have found that 80% of the time I go into a gun/firearm shop .....I buy a 500 brick of .22 ammo ..... I now have quite a few thousand rounds , . I have a .22 1911 , from gsg ,and have only put about 200 rounds thru it , but it still doesnt stop me from buy more .... maybe its because its so cheap for so many , maybe it was the yanks buying it all up .... maybe im becoming a ammo hoarder .....
    anyone else do this?
    cheers

Ok I'll admit I used to do that as well. Once a month without doubt I would buy a brick off 22ammo.

Now only when I run out.

On thinking about it I'm unsure how I kicked the habit. It may have been when I started reloading

Not alone in that. I tend to buy a box or two of 22 or 223 whenever I'm near the store. it doesn't seem like a big purchase, nor do you think you are spending a huge amount of money. Until you get home and realise there is a bloody great pile of unopened ammo sitting there.

    Haha !

But yes, same affliction as stumpy, always seem to come out with a brick of .22 with a visit. The compulsion for 223 has diminished a little now that I reload, so I just always buy another 100 pack of projectiles and spend some quiet time reloading

What can I say, I like to shoot a LOT and Doc Watson's range is just a few min from my place so I tend to buy in bulk to keep cost down. And that pic does not have all the surplus ammo in it lol
