    Offer of work

    I can offer permanent work.
Minimum 40 hrs a week and extra hrs generally available.

The work is a factory situation, all ppe gear provided, nothing to buy for work except your undies. You must be reasonable fit to start.

5 weeks holiday a year, Evening shift 4pm to midnight, would be about 22 an hr once training complete, Night's about 23-24.depending on skill
There is also a premium for working both these shifts.
Transfer to days possible but may take some time [ read years]

I need folk who will turn up for work every day .
If you don't come to work I will manage you out
If you come to work drunk or drugged I ill sack you
I do not have any gender preference for these jobs.
There is a pre empoyment drug test and Physical .

Jobs are in North Otago in the south Island.

    Contact me by pm initially.

Good on ya mate. What I liked best is you didn't ask for a CV initially.

Imo who ever invented the cv should be shot with balls of their own shit.

I might be looking for help this time next year and to be fair this would be the first place I ask for it. I won't be asking for a cv either.
I have one forum member who will help out when needed but he is gainfully employed elsewhere and although well suited and valuable may not always be available at the drop of a hat.

Good luck with getting someone motivated after watching the young ones at the freezing works who can't be bothered turning up every night for 6 months .young ones seem to only want to get enough money to party at the weekend and can't be bothered with long term ie planning for the other 6 months. Would personally only hire someone over thirty now but thankfully I don't have a business anymore, yah freedom.

A mate has an avocado orchard (yes, a bit of bunny shooting for me) and simply cannot recruit/retain enough staff for the business to fulfil it's potential. Even if he gets someone who is keen, they fail the drug tests. He tells me that he pays well above the going rate. Something is very wrong.

That seems to be a very good pay rate for factory work. I was only earning 19.50 an hour with my full class 5 truck licenses. I think the more recently you might get more but that is a very generous offer

We have lifted the rates, it is so hard to get people even in Oamaru, I have had two promising prospects in the last three weeks.
    Both failed drug tests.
This fucken methamphetamine shit , it's everywhere. I'm 2 yrs off 60 and I don't understand it, back in my day there was booze, some dope and a bit of smack amongst a certain set , you knew and just didn't hire
    Now, I have no idea

Dont worry by xmas weed will be legal or de-crimalised or whatever the greenies want. Your probably expecting too much, 40 hours is that in one week in the evening what about my social life, i am offended you even asked. slave driver, its against my human rights to drug test me. the list is endless but good luck.
