Patriotism - Are we really good at it?

Like many I am an extremely proud KIWI and there is no doubt that at times of great accomplishment like the recent Olympics or the RWC last year, there is a great ground swell of national pride in this country but we do not even get close to the overtly flag waving, daily anthem singing sort of folk like there are in the USA and we pale even against our neighbours over the ditch. Why do you reckon that is?
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire

Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

When half their army are "specialists" in things like changing tyres only on the left hand side of the trucks, thats no surprise
Having said that I do like Utah, their a bit quieter there

What you just said about the outback Aussies can be said about the yanks Neckshot. Get away from the major cities and they are decent hard working people.
I worked with some of their Marines and they were pretty switched on blokes. They did make a lot of noise before exiting the aircraft which was pretty funny.

I do not think we are as patriotic as perhaps we could be...but then, what is it!..when I had a chance to watch some of the Olympic games it was of V Adams having a howly bag...I was disappointed to say the least...these people are role models, whatever the blazes that means...

you mean when she talked about being left of the start list? I just think she was gutted because she had trained to win a gold and we all expected it!
