yup I do, but I am worried how it would be set up.
If we get a bunch of do-gooder hand wringers with the same risk assessment mentality of the OHS system nowadays, we will be screwed.

Given that people are fed up with invented policy and the police failing to follow the law, it would make sense that a new govt organisation would stick to the confines of the act for the shooting community's sake.

Yup done (once I figured out how to prove I am not a robot). Fuck the world has become complicated.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

It works best on a PC. My phone didn't really have a good time trying to prove I'm not a robot

Even if sucessful the police will still be the front line delivery inspection and first responce providers which means there is likely to still be the same confusion over and interpretive application of the act.
What would improve is there would be a higher authority that would enforce the standard set in the act but often only after the fact as occurs now with legal challenge. FAL costs may also rise as as result of making any new bureaucracy a cost recovery exercise.
Signed but im not hopeful of a result, still you cant win without a ticket.
