    Photobucket stops 3rd party hosting

A couple of days ago photobucket stopped 3rd party hosting unless you change your account to a $39.95 a month account.
Thankfully this site will host pics.
I've got a few on photobucket, but I sure as hell ain't paying them any money!

I've got over 2000 photos on photobucket. What a nuisance. Most sites allow direct hosting now but it was handy having somewhere to keep a library of stuff.

$2.49 per month to allow 3rd party hosting

Gave up on Photobucket some time ago. Cleared out all my images. Have been using tinypic which requires no sign up.

I stopped putting things on photobucket years ago (because it was crap) but I still have a lot of old stuff there. I use flickr instead now, much better.

Why wouldn't you use Google photos? Works very well for storage to.

    PHOTOBUCKET FOR 3RD PARTY HOSTING*
My third party hosting usage is 100% - no warning - just shut me down
I didnít even know that they donít allow 3rd party hosting
They want me to pay them $399/annum to start it up again

Just ignore them and store your photos somewhere else. They have shot themelves in the foot over this, most people will ignore them and walk away.

OK. It's now stopped working for me, bastards. If they think they are going to make any money out of this while offering a crap service, they are wrong.

VGY looks like a good alternative so far.

I have been looking at picture storage options - it seems like Google Photos could be great as all of my cell phone pics are already sitting in my account - I will just need to upload my thousands of other pictures currently sitting on my laptop and on Microsoft Photos
Looks like Google Photos can do some amazing stuff without me even thinking about it. I thought Microsoft Photos was a neat program but Google Photos may be better and has unlimited no cost storage
Only issue confusing me at present is how easy is it to create a link to use in a form? - hope you can help @Wirehunt
For all of you who are wondering what to do with Photobucket - I suggest you start looking at options and put PB in the bucket before they screw you - because it is going to happen!

    https://photos.app.goo.gl/bvXOIFEIyIAvtLhx2

Seems the forum can't handle pulling in from the url

    Insert Image
    XFrom ComputerFrom URL
    Add an Image from Url
Allowed Filetypes: jpg, jpeg, png, gif
    URL

    https://photos.app.goo.gl/bvXOIFEIyIAvtLhx2
Retrieve remote file and reference locally

**That comes up with an invalid file type message.
