    How long will the firearms owners of this country have to wait for an apology for the way we have been treated by the government , I wonder ?

    Hmmmm. I wonder how the families feel about receiving an apology from someone that wasn’t even alive when the tragedy occurred. Maybe I should apologise for the great fire of London.

    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    That she's apologised to the relatives of the people lost on Mt Erebus on behalf of the Govt and Air NZ is a good thing.

    But it's an easy thing to do 40 years after the fact

    The people who should've been apologising were Morrie Davis and Rob Muldoon, among others.

    She's basically looking good for putting right the official screwups of the time.

    It's a feelgood moment, it's cost her and her tribe nothing to do, and ought to be good for a point or two in the polls.

    IMO, they need a supertanker full of feelgood moments between now and the election, if they want to stay in power.

    So, in 40 years' time, will the then-PM apologize for scapegoating LFAOs for the Tarrant atrocity? Yeah, nah. Plus, I'll be pushing up dem metaphorical daisies. I neither will know then nor do I care now.

    I have always thought apologizing for what happened decades / generations ago is pure, 100% virtue-signalling. So, OK, stoners. Enjoy whatever temporary feel-goodness you getz. You're still a waste of the communal oxygen.

    Exactly my sentiment, I rarely feel bitter about anything but I sure as hell are embittered with this Labour bunch because of their knee jerk action to firearm license owners and also by their wild unfulfilled promises....grrr..
