Attend, be polite, and someone ask why no meeting in Dunedin this time?

Four meetings in North Island (Auckland, Hamilton, Palmerston North, Wellington), each no more than two hours drive apart.

Two meetings in the South Island (Christchurch, Invercargill), seven hours drive apart.

Please do attend if you live in one of those centres, even if it is on the other side of town. A lot of us just can't travel 3-4 hours and depend on your voice.

And STICK UP FOR ALL gun owners, not just your own wee hobby corner -- be it black powder, bench resting, service rifle, long distance goat shooting, airsoft playfight, bolt or semi, etc. etc.

They do this because chasing burglars is too hard. Maybe they will send 3 squad cars to the local Countdown etc to arrest a shoplifter. Crikey if it was enshrined in legislation they had to stick to core duties bs Castle in Wellington would be in a turmoil.

    Why?
To be counted among the useless idiots.
Anything you say will be recorded and used to persecute firearms owners further.
    Waste expensive fuel.
You will be following their Agenda.

If you want to make a difference, do not commune with these congenital liars, rather write to your employee, the minister of police outlining your concerns. Take note of the response and then reward or punish in the electoral cycle.

I went along tonight to the palmy meeting

    Was preddy restricted really

Cut out all the important bits of late like the safe policy and the ak/ar15 stuff was barely touched

Its about the online integration of the police paperwork and them proving more information on applying for an fal
( thought there was more then enough as it is personally but more is good)

    Renewing fal

    Import permits

    P2p transfers

They have some good idea that will streamline process and you not having to give them same infomation time after time.

Good to attend but wouldnt put myself out to go

Thats the problem isnt it - we want to be "involved" in the consultation process but we cant be f*cked actually going .

Please dont complain when we get screwed over again....

And before you jump up and down at me - I'm out of the country so unable to attend . What was your excuse?
