    Protesters

Watching last nights news and the tpp protesters, all the familiar faces were there moaning how the police dont treat them properly. Based on footage from overseas they are right, proper treatment means water cannons and tear gas.

There were even some there at the TPPA protest with anti 1080 banners. So not everyone was there against the TPPA, just there because it was a protest.

Paul Henery wanted to "water cannon" the protestors up the on-ramp to the motorway on TV this morning

Been there before with iwd in new plymouth corporate liability is a difficult issue, guess we will have to wait to see if the sky falls on our heads. But overall like the medicine ads say all treatments have possible side effects but on average more benefit than suffer. No references to a bucket of boiling water a bucket of cold and two feet please!

New Zealand was previously insulated by that, but the TPP is most likely the end of that.

No real protests happened. The bulk of the countries attitude is the same as the peoples in this thread. We don't know what our government signed and we don't care.
    Bullshit.

We didn't know what was what while negotiations were happening, but the verified text is available to everyone on the mfat website.
Most of the complaints I see on my Facebook newsfeed are not true if people just read the actual agreement

Half would be generous. I'd say 99% haven't even read the table of contents

I don't disagree at all, but if people are going to complain or protest then they should know what about

On the bright side NZ companies can sue other countries who put up tariffs or enact laws that restrict our access!
