    Well done that man.

It all comes down to what you judge to be "academic."

    One definition of an academic
went to uni, studied something that would never get me a job in the real world. Went back did a masters, a doctorate and by 40 never had had a real job. Used my appalling interpersonal skills and bad dress sense to get a faculty job "teaching" irrelevant stuff based on my opinions (works in humanities where there are no right or wrong answers) to a bunch of no hopers who are the shining lights of the next generation.
There are other definitions as well.

Yeah, these lefties who go and get a doctorate in lesbian dance theory, and upon finding they’re unemployable as no job exists for them, decide to exact revenge upon anyone who appears to be even mildly successful or enjoying life.

Interesting when someone who is not emotive and actually knows what they are talking about can put together a reasoned and rational view point. The other so called concerned experts could take a leaf from this page and start reporting factually and without all the emotion.

Oh hang on that means the truth would get in the way of the story. Funnily enough however I didn't see this in the mosque shooting section today. Surely this should be in he same section as the other opinion piece of rubbish. Somehow the media need to be taken to task on the way they report things. Too many sheeple believe the rubbish they publish and they have too much sway in public opinion as they just push their own opinion.

dont laugh -yes i luv to come on here fired up and deliver a broadside or 2 3 4 5.... but I do have a serious side and this is reflective of it.
