    Rehab- pelvic fracture

So who here has had a broken pelvis?

I sustained an uncomplicated pelvic fracture on Thursday. Aat this stage surgery is unlikely.

I am bored out of my mind but I'd like to know what others did to maintain upper body strength and condition over the recovery period.

I have dumbbells and can get resistance bands or anything else.

I just need something to focus on instead of shitty tv

Depends on if your in a cast or not. If it's just a crack then after a few weeks start aquarobics and swimming. Good for muscles and joints without any pressure.

Tossing that little thing you got about a year ago would be good. Quality time.

Yeah, had my little nephew (would have been 3) walk up and down my back shortly after my first op. His mum looked horrified.
