Heard of Johns passing the other day, very sad to die so young. I never meet the guy but I really enjoyed his attitude, from one tradie to another RIP mate

Shoot it, root it, then BBQ it !!!
Yeah was a bit of a shock to see he passed on.
Can't remember if he was on Tab sports cafe or some other program as a regular skit. He was a very likable character.

Do what ya want! Ya will anyway.
Yes RIP Cocksy, You fought a good fight but cancer is a cunt of an opponent with a great deal of tenacity. I love your TV programme.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
He was one of only a very few TV celebs that did not make my skin crawl
Knew it was coming but still - sad News for sure :-(
He seemed a good bugger alright. Condolences to the family

Yep. Very sad.
Yup sad he's gone but mainly for his family and I do mean that, as they are the ones truly hurting right now.
Hundreds of normal people have this happen to them all the time.
Don't always hear about them on the news.
I nearly karked it from an accident 4 odd years ago. I don't know if my chopper flight made the news but other than that only friends and family would've known.
There would be a lot on this forum with similar experiences.
We think of him as a good bugger because of what we've seen on the telly so there is sympathy.
If I knew him I'd care more deeply-I don't so I don't.

You are of course entirely correct @csmiffy, we will all be forgotten by other people in 50-70 years, at least by other people.
