    I'm on grants at the moment, even if I do have nice whiskey on the shelf. No point in wasting the good stuff!

    Applying good whiskey to yourself is never a waste. Giving it to others without an appreciation would be dumb though.

    now i was in the wos*sgts mess at addington barracks the day the RNZN euthanised the classic senior service tradition of "the tot of rum.
    at the bar none other than the late GP Cust CPO RN &RNZN.sweet jesus if my memory is correct we drank 36tots as toasts to everyone bar the local vicars cat.

    had i have been cremated ,the bloody flames would still be going strong 72hrs later!
    Rum and i have squared offx3 and like a certain pommy boxer one hughie fury-Ive come off a very very sad 2nd bestevery bloody time
