    School cooking comp.... Closes soon.

Well this comp closes soon... Midnight tomorrow night

I try to support the Local schools and do sponsor a few of the Local school Diaries / workbooks/ Newsletters through my buiseness and Pokeno is one of the schools I do the news letter and books.

Parmco comp for the schools, Pokenoís link

Individual School :: Lets Cook With Parmco

1 Vote per email address is all the is required (1 off you donít need to vote again) 2 days to go.
You go in to win prizes if you vote as well, check out the prizes

Pokeno school is my old home town school and My wife also works their in the office, the competition prizes of cooking equipment is what they dearly would love to get , They have spent the time at the markets, down the shops and anywhere they can to promote the school in the comp, they have been leading for some time but one other school in there category is keeping up and has closed the gap several times. They have put the time in to add pictures to their page to show the efforts they have put in to the cooking, Have a look

If your local school is on there and are close to a prize give them you vote, But if they are way behind put your vote to good use and support a school that isn't flush with money to aid them in setting up better cooking facilities, Kids learning to cook sets them up for life

    Cheers
    David

Voted for Pokeno, dunno about a trip to Auckland tho? How long do you have to be there before you buy a 7mm08 and study cafe coffee lists with authority?

Pokeno are 200 odd behind now

Bloody shame as the school that is in the lead looks to be already well funded decile 10 school...laptops for the keds etc Vrs kids that have no computers at home. looking at the leading schools web site it is just a bloody shame

Pokeno is in a low decile area with gear that dearly needs upgrading and the kids have been doing the hard yards, 50 pages of coments on Pokeno's verses 2 on Grant Braes School....
