Fairly sure the Scottish economy is propped up by the UK as a whole and although they would dearly love to be independent I don't think it would be viable.

The polls in the lead up had the yes / no voters as being close but the result was unequivocal. The yes voters may as well toss their caber's to the neighbours, throw their kilt in the silt and sell their sporran's for some florin's because they are stuck with Liz and Phil. William Wallace and Bonnie Prince Charlie will be spinning in their graves.

Copied by Telecom/Spark...or as Paul Henry said "looks like someone got their wires crossed"...or something like that.
Which is worse, ignorance or apathy...I don't know and don't care.

Should have reverted to sorting it out with claymores instead of this modern voting stuff.

Wise decision that! Hopefully we'd do the same, or Winnie would be president, dot com deputy! Now there's ya problem! Of course we have plenty of All Blacks for the next change.

Although a valiant effort, I don't think a 50/50 vote should change the future of a country (fair enough voting in a party for 3years) something like a 66.9/33.1 for change would reflect the true desire for a country seeking to change. Vote for your children's future not how you feel today
