Hey how's it. Now days surveillance cameras have come a long way. you can buy small cameras that load to your phone instantly on activation, for fuck all cost.

Hey man, that does sound good... but my phone is not the sharpest tool in the shed, kinda dumb really!
My alarm does notify me of any trigger or reset etc but Id like to know who is coming up the drive before they actually get to the house etc.

Both my brother and myself have these on our driveways:

    https://turtle-direct.co.nz/driveway...imeter-alarms/

They def pick up vehicles and people passing, and I like the fact they are self-charging and have a wireless link back to the house unit. The only minor issue is often on dusk, there is a short sequence of false alarms which I suspect is due to a cool-down in the sender unit. Nothing you can't live with.

@Gapped axe is there a quality outdoor camera that can be connected to the mains and send a live feed to phone? Needs to be something I can convince our FENZ bosses to pay for.
We get a lot of people parking up at the station during the day and trucks use it for turning around making an easy run over a one way bridge

make a sun shield for over the tops of the units. since its a point to point beam it wont alter range but you will find its the low altitude sunlight causing issues, i even had the same issues with really expensive optex units. also helps stop issues in heavy rain and snow too

Got a cheap one (I think called Swan) at home up the driveway. Turn it off during the day when home as change of light etc with clouds sets it off. Might make a shield for it
