    Security re addresses

I have had a recent wake up call

Make sure if you are buying anything online (including here) that you give an address that isn't your home for things to be delivered to.

Thankfully I have a p.o.box which I use but what other options are there available to use? Work address? Don't put a nu,Berlin down for the street and hope the postie figures it out off the name (rural is much better for this than town)

It must be late in the day. I have read this three times and do not understand what you are getting at. What the hell is a nu Berlin?

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

There are only three types of people in this world. Those that can count, and those that can't!

He means don’t put a number down and hope the postie remembers your address or partners it with other addresses mail.

nuBerlin is a typo, it should be number. He is saying put your address, but no street number, and hopefully postie will know which number to deliver it to.

I ordered a gun vise online, once they had dispatched it I found out they had addressed it wrong. I live just out of town, but there is road in town with the same name, they must have used one of those webpages that automatically comes up with possible addresses as you type, and clicked on the wrong one.
Thankfully I was able to get the courier company to redirect the parcel, before it was delivered to someone in one of the dodgiest parts of town, I sure didn't want some of the people in that area knowing I had firearms.
When we moved, the removal truck also went to the street in town instead of the rural one, they said they got there are said to each other "F### no, this ain't right, They wouldn't be moving here!"

I don't have anything gun related delivered to the house, it gets delivered to work. No gun related bumper stickers on the car, no bones or heads hanging on walls, no hunting porn in view of windows, etc, etc. I am also aware of people around me as I leave a gun shop with ammo, have been advised lads have been followed from shop to house. Some might say a bit ott, but i don't give a feck what they say, it's how I choose to do it.
I am also slightly concerned about having a list of exactly what firearms(registration) on a computer, various ways that can end up in the wrong hands.

Far better to be over cautious. I get pissed off at my local arms office sending letters with "arms office" stamped on the back of the envelope...

I don't really have an address. Something about it defeats all databases and directories. The postie knows where I live. The arms inspector knows my boss. If I called the police, fire or ambulance there is zero chance they would find me. Before we caught up with the postie, he took all our mail to another house and we never saw it again.

I get guns sent to my sport shop.
