Shops that seem to bend us over

I was looking online to buy an additional magazine for my Howa Mini.

Online prices range from $110 at Gunworks to $79 at Reloaders Supplies - a $41 or 50% difference.

I'm going to ask at the LGS's to continue the research now but that sort of variance is just a shafting - makes you wonder what else our dear retailers are getting up to. Everyone is entitled to a profit but if they try and take me for a sucker then I'll go elsewhere - not much wonder overseas online sales are booming.

Gunworks prices normally pretty good, wouldn't judge on 1 item.

Reloaders never used to offer trade pricing to other retailers, so if it was something that they import then the gunshops are paying the same for it as you would if you walked into the reloaders store.

It's changed hands recently. Haven't met the new owner yet. The old one was good for a yarn and full of intel. Must pop back in soon.

Maybe my memory is fuzzy. My bad. I seem to remember it being that much.

    I happily stand corrected.
