That is a fantastic idea but do we have any members down here who own a suitable bit of land?

Could issue a temporary permit to enter, but would require a good behaviour bond.

I'd be all for it, but wouldn't that take the reason for the event away from it. Toby was a North Island lad, who touched a lot of people. It's where his friends and family are for the 'memorial' side of it. Would it be right to put it on the road as such

    I reckon it's a great idea.
You can always invite the family anywhere
The only reason Mel and I do it is for Toby.
There sure is a shit load of work and cost inlovled.
Be great to see it move around

Now I reckon this has some merit.
Toby, kicked my arse, with my own pistol, in the South. And this is after a speech by me on how in inaccurate shooting gangster Style is. Toby hit 5 out of 6 , single handed, right handed, gangster.

I reckon, the south island has a OK chance of holding a shoot.

Who can step up and offer as good as brads in the South?

What kind of a setup would you need
I'm not really upto long range shooting, but for a good cause I'd be happy to help any way I can down here

Best to talk to @BRADS but an area where multiple gongs can be set up out to at least a km preferably and shot by multiple shooters simultaneously and a decent area to camp/eat/socialise plus toilets etc.

Might be able to form abit of a plan at the NOBBS,(North Otago Big Bore Shoot). I'd be keen to help out, but would be limited as what it would be.

The idea of having this shindig in the South Island is an excellent one. Toby loved the trip that you guys put on for him and his brother Luke so the tribute we pay to him will be all the more poignant for some. Now anyone going to the SI? That I can cadge a lift with?
