    Steel tube

    Hi guys n girls, I'm after 320LM of galv pipe for a balustrade i'm building.... don't suppose anyone has a stack of pipe lying around?
    Worth a try....

    what size , what wall thickness - does it have to be galv - cant use stainless instead?

    Standard sizes mean you can do kwikfit type joins that just do up with a grubscrew - try Fletchers and Steel and Tube for those

    wont be any joints etc, the tube will be set into timber top and bottom. size is not important, just want about 20mm od.
    Galv would be best, but could go black if the pricw is right.

    Actually, a bunch of old guns would make a pretty cool hand rail!, ill need 320 old guns please people.

    15GMP Steel And Tube Code (15mm I/D Galv Medium Pipe) Would be about 22mm or 25mm O/D they come in 6.5mtr lengths.

    So you want 1 m lengths, 20mm od (or 3/4 in) galv pipe x 320?
    Please excuse spelling, as finger speed is sometimes behind brain spped........ Or maybe the other wayy.....
