I came across a prado that obviously belonged to hunters as had an empty gun bag on back seat parked in St James lookout car park that had the wheels taken off It, window smashed and ignition all ripped out, obviously couldn't get it started so stole the wheels off it instead. I left a note and let police know once I got back to Culverden but never heard anything back

A hunter had a hilux stolen on Sunday from a forest I manage, we were wondering how the culprit got in there to find said hilux. Then yesterday I found a van stashed away up a dead end track with personal contents all hurled down into a gully below. Gates were smashed to get in there. So that's the culprit. Turns out van was stolen from Hurunui area on Tuesday, and a hilux was found in a forest not far from where the van was stolen. I've let the local cop know about this one, there would be enough time for the culprit to make his way back to Canterbury ditch the Southland hilux and nick this one. Pretty sure the guy's running from someone/and is tripping on drugs. Makes ya wonder. Scary stuff.

There was an article in the Waikato Times last week (Saturday I think) by Helen Clarke. She firmly believes that our drug laws are all wrong. We shouldn't be criminalizing drug dealers and users. Apparently we should be counseling them instead.
I think Dave could write a more convincing article.
    Overkill is still dead.
