I've got a 04 durmax, only 340hp and couple less gears, Than the new ones, I have been happy with it, but if you don't need a diesel to tow with, the heavier suspension, on the durmax 3/4 and one tons, Make for a much rougher ride,

Put a bar of soap in the bed, change it every month. The electrons or something stop your twitching. My wife has it real bad so i sleep in the spare room mostly.

Good to hear another opinion,I only tow about 2 ton.It won't be used for alot other than towing though.I only do about 25,000km per anum.I wish you could get a 454 with the new Silverado's.

RLS and Insomnia go hand in hand. The least you sleep the more issue with LRS. Couple of things to try, increase the circulation in your legs before you go to sleep ie leg massage, vibrating pad, foot bath. The more you lay awake the more you think about LRS and the more stress keeps you awake and the more RLS, big circle really. Placing your pillow slip or pillow in the freezer before you go to bed will help you sleep better. I normally reduce all stress and thoughts by grabbing a book and an apple before I sleep. Your legs are calling for oxygen from your blood and bad circulation is causing your LRS and stress (insomnia) is mitigating the issue. Take one of the issue's out of the equation and the other will follow. Bet your not doing your jaw exercises either.

You seem to be on the money. I think I am going to get it, so I stress about it.
I think mine is from nerve damage not so much a circulation issue. I have smashed a femur and am numb on the inside of my left shin to the touch. I do remember bouts of it long before I had my injuries tho not bad.

Maybe 10 years I have suffered with it. Lately it has just got worse.

No I am not doing my exercises and I have even forgotten what they were.

I will try your suggestions for sure.
But I can get to sleep easily sometimes only to be woken up by it. Always in one leg and once in a blue moon it shifts to the other.
