Seems there a few members going - should we attempt some sort of Forum Meet-up?

The clown sitting next to you and outbidding you might be a fellow member ..........

303s were cheap, $3k for a 1906, I thought was reasonable, and it wasnít that flash!! Overall there was a fair amount of cash about by the look of it. Those really really evil Brens about 3k some fancy boxed, gold inlaid, engraved boxed machine gun, 15.5 k and a very nice 577/450 Martini carbine by Brandiln Armoury $1300 until some beaded person decided to join the biding and made it $1800.00 inc premium!!
The cast iron harpoon gun for $5.2k, without the harpoon, 21 rounds of Snider ammo, with 90 lead projectiles for $280.00!!! That was plain stupid, if the buyers on here, at that price let me know if you want more!!
The beer was $10 bucks a bottle, breakfast $18, The hotel we stayed at partied till 3 am Sat morning, Iím bring a chainsaw for the early breakfast next year!!
Great day, good watching some people spend heaps on shit, mate got a nice Sykes Fairbain fighting nice, then goes to sleep on his back last night holding it in one hand, pointed at the ceiling, had to quietly take it off him without being killed!!

Ships cannon - 3k, The interesting blunderbuss went for 4k and the top prize of 15k goes to the presentation MP40 and no it wasn't me that bought it.

Any of you the young guys up front row bidding on and won quite a few items?

I only went to look at the MAS but it was well past ww2 era production so passed it up, came away with a few other bits instead
