    A torch passed

A week ago today we buried my paternal aunt (back row, second left). She was 90 and the last of my father's generation (that is him on the left) and her passing leaves me (the cute kid on my grandmothers lap) to carry the torch as the eldest Rushy. Scary thought and big shoes to fill.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

Keep the torch burning bright. Looks like you've got a heap of fuel to keep it going for a while yet, that is still getting out and about more than some people half ya age
And by not running, you're saving all those heartbeats for when it really counts

Ha ha ha ha yes. I am trying to track said daughter down. It is a perfect day to introduce her to long range shooting.

And @Rushy, sorry for you loss.
And not a piss take either.

Families are bloody important, and from recent events in mine, a shrinking beast.

    Value what you have.
