Transport from Tga to Gissy, water pump...

Hi all, a man off here who's username I can't recall and I'm too lazy to check my PM's needs to get an old waterpump I have from Tauranga to Gisborne, anyone headed that way?

It's a heavy little critter so concerned about courier costs plus sourcing a box strong enough to cart it...

    Cheers

Sounds a bit lighter than the one I transported. That was about 2 tonne with the Deutz diesel.

    Bump.

Old Mr Jack gave me a hand. You met him, first name Hydraulic? Used a tractor to load it onto the transporter and used a ute to haul it off in Blenheim. Good load behind the old Hiace van. Put the jack under the back of the trailer to keep the arse end of the van on the ground for loading and unloading. I'm getting cunning in my, ... hey, ... I'm not going to say that, ... I'm still young at heart.

About 16kg boxed, courier outfit is wanting 2 tickets + RD surcharge + a "we aren't really interested" tax. Bastards... I could shop around but figuring someone will be headed that way!
