    Trench Shovel

After seeing what @nickbop did at my spot with just a machete today im after info on a good cheap source for a trench shovel, id say folding would be best but not a must.

Think this is an old US Army version and would be ideal

Just make sure you check it before you buy it. I ordered one for a spare in the 4wd thinking it would fit under the seat. When it arrived it would fit in the glove box and room for a few more. I have a garden trowel that was about the same size when it was ready to use. It was abotu 4 inches wide and the shovel blade would be around 5 inches, total overall length when assembled was around 10 inches. In saying that, it would also fit in my pocket so it may have a use, especially if I decide to weed around the edge of the bivvy......
